The True Non-Allergy, No Shedding Dog:

Poodles have hair, not fur and it does not shed. We do not breed for Labordoodles or Goldendoodles because with such mixes, you don't know if the dog will shed or not until you have become way too attached to him. Regrettably, the rescue sites are filling up with "doodles" that carried the "shedding" characteristic from their non-poodle parent. Yes, dogs that don't shed need to be brushed and groomed, but this can be as simple or elaborate, as you wish. The time you spend grooming will be far less than the time you spend cleaning dog hair from your home and clothing.
